Finetta Moore

Finetta L. (Glawe) Moore, 86, of Machesney Park passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. Born January 10, 1931, the daughter of Lewis and Emma (Weitkamper) Glawe.  Graduated from Winnebago High School, Class of 1948.  Married Leonard Moore on September 1, 1949.  In her younger years, Finetta enjoyed flowers and gardening.  She had many pets throughout the years, but especially loved her cats.  Finetta was employed by Avon as a sales rep, starting in 1975, and proudly worked for 42 years.  Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Tom) Gardner; grandchildren, Tammy (Robert), Michael (Tina), James and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn (Colin), Jonah, Anastasia, Barry and Nicholas; great-great-grandchildren, Averey and Quinn; best friends, Virgie and Darlene; and special cousins, Marjorie and Marlene.  Predeceased by husband; daughter, Connie; brother, Ken; and great-granddaughter, Angela.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
