Evetta “Eve” J. Agnew, 92, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born August 30, 1931, in Stevens Point, WI, the daughter of Glen and Annie (Stephenson) Worden. She married Louis Edward Agnew in February of 1980 and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She and Lou moved to Hot Springs Village, AR, in 1991 and moved back to Rockford in 2018. Eve was a life master duplicate bridge player and played in tournaments throughout the years. She was very creative with arts and crafts, poetry writing, and ceramics, which she taught in her home for several years. Eve was a loving sister, mother, grandmother. Survivors include her children, Kelly (Rick) Calacci, Sue Calacci, Michael “Mel” Douglas, and Jeffrey Douglas; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Cota, Scott Calacci, Ryan (Rachel) Calacci, and McKenzie Calacci; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; previous husband, H. Kelly Douglas; husband, Louis; son-in-law, Mark Calacci.

Service at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded.
