Evelyn Attebery

Evelyn D. Attebery, 83, of Loves Park passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, in Alden Alma Nelson.  Born November 11, 1937, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Sly) Cousin.  She loved traveling to Jamaica, Mexico, and warm weather places.  Evelyn enjoyed fishing and even had her own fishing boat when she was younger.  She enjoyed donating the crocheted hats she made for cancer patients.  Avid reader, reading thousands of books over the years.  Survivors include her daughters, Jeannie Meek, Diana Baer and Kathy (Gary Knowles) Attebery; former son-in-law, Timothy Baer; grandchildren, Tiffany Meek, Jessica Jones, Ashley Baer, Grant Baer, Mary Hernandez, Jessica (Scott) Jones and Tiffany (Christopher Johnson) Meek; 8 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents; daughter, Elaine Hernandez; son-in-law, Stuart Meek; brother, Kenneth Cousin; and loving companion, Shadow.

Walk through visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Social distancing and face coverings required.  Private burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
