Eva L. (Reich) Kirschbaum, 89, of Rockford, IL, passed away December 6, 2024, at Fair Oaks Health Care Center, South Beloit, IL, from congestive heart failure. Born March 29, 1935, in Rockford, the daughter of Earl P. Reich and Fern C. (Mayer) Reich Wyllys. She attended Church School, Roosevelt Junior High, and graduated from West Senior High, Class of 1953 in Rockford. Married Ronald Kirschbaum on December 21, 1957, in Rockford. Worked for Illinois National Bank before becoming a housewife and homemaker and spending 38 years buying, selling, and visiting with friends at flea markets and antique markets. She enjoyed her pecan waffles from Stockholm Inn and feeding the wild animals around her home. Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Ken) Michaelson of Rockton, IL; son, Tom (Jodi Sutherland) Kirschbaum of Rockford; grandchildren, Jenny (Mack) Nelson of Orangeville, IL, Andy (Brittany Keen) Michaelson with great-grandchildren, Clara and Max of Machesney Park, IL, Ryan Kirschbaum of Milwaukee, WI, and Kyle Kirschbaum of Rockford; former daughter-in-law, Kim (Larson) Kirschbaum; and many lifelong friends, neighbors and the ladies of the Pot Luck group. Predeceased by her parents; half-brother, Manton F. (Rocky) Reich; stepfather, Ceylon M. (Curly) Wyllys; and parents-in-law.
