Eugene "Geno" Schultz

Eugene “Geno” A. Schultz, 64, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Born June 18, 1955, in Germany, the son of Wayne and Mary (Russo) Schultz. Formerly married to Glenda Schultz. Employed as a carpenter. Eugene loved fishing, bowling and watching football. He formerly raced at the Rockford Speedway. He was also known as a handy-man that loved to build things. Survivors include his daughter, Cassie Schultz; son, Corey (Allison) Schultz; granddaughter, Siearra Schultz; former wife, Glenda Schultz; siblings, Joe (Shirley) Schultz, Maryann (Jim) Smith, Frances (Lou) Vazquez, Barb (Stan “Stub”) Foster; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends, Harry, Vince, Don and Larry; canine companions, Bubbles and Hobo. Predeceased by father and mother, Wayne and Mary Schultz; and brother, Tony Schultz.

Memorial service at noon Monday, November 18, 2019, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. Inurnment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
