Estle F. Oskins, 91, of Rockford, IL, passed into eternity on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Born May 23, 1933, in Decatur, IL, the son of Estle and Lois (Boroughf) Oskins. Veteran of the U.S. Marines. He married Marilyn Anthony on August 17, 1957, in Columbus, OH. Owned and operated Oskins Electric during his lifetime. Member of Faith Center. Estle was involved with several area waterski teams. Survivors include his daughters, Denise (Kurt) Burnside and Janelle (John) Birly; grandchildren, Jennifer Birly, Heather (Stephen) Reynolds, Alexis (Patrick) Smith, and Brian Birly; and sister, Sheryl (Dale) Albright. Predeceased by his parents; wife; brother, Carl Oskins; and sisters, Georgia Hogue and Carol Anderson.
Service at 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at Faith Center, 4721 South Main Street, Rockford, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
