Eleanor Lantz

Eleanor Hilda (Curtis) Lantz, 96, of Loves Park, went home to Jesus on Thursday, August 5, 2021.  Born August 24, 1924, in London, England, the daughter of Alfred and Minnie (Cooper) Curtis.  Married Robert A. Lantz on November 28, 1942, they went on to have two children, Diana and Brenda Lantz.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving Nana, Eleanor also loved watching her granddaughters participate in cheerleading and basketball.  She and her husband enjoyed riding the charter bus to and from gambling excursions and across state lines.  Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.  Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Lantz and Diana Lantz; granddaughters, Allison (Joe) Malcom and Annette (Pete) Fog; and five great-grandchildren.  Eleanor joins her husband, Robert, in heaven.  May Nana rest in peace.

Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Serenity.
