Edward “Ed” J. Llewellyn, 88, of Rockford, IL, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022. Born April 24, 1934, in Chicago, IL, the son of Merle and Lucille M. (Bennison) Llewellyn. Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Avid Cubs fan and loved old movies and Westerns. Ed was a “favorite brother” and loving uncle. Survivors include his sister, Maria Gilfillan; nephew, Mel Gilfillan; and niece, Michele Petrie, all of Rockford; and niece, Monica Gilfillan of Phoenix, AZ.
