Edith Lucille Waggoner, 83, of Loves Park, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. Born July 7, 1935, in Rockford, the daughter of Jean Paul and Mary Flora (Meinheit) Artz. Married Troy Waggoner on October 1967 in Rockford. Retired from the Rockford Public Library. Edith loved camping, fishing, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Survivors include daughter, Yvonne (William) Mariani of Davis; 4 grandchildren, Tonya (Burk) Glogowski, Stephanie Ebbings, Gary Ebbings and Troy (Angela) Ebbings; 5 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Eriana, Noah, Marc and Vincent; sister, Helen Sell-King of Loves Park; 3 brothers, Rodney (Diana) Artz of Arkansas, Jerald (Sharon) Artz of Loves Park and Lyle Artz of Missouri. Predeceased by her husband, Troy; great-granddaughter, Tessa Marie Glogowski; 3 brothers, Jr., George and Jim; and sister, Mary Lou Richter.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
