Edith Cadwell

Edith E. Cadwell, 94, of Loves Park passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, in Swedish American Hospital. Born August 4, 1921, in Rockford, the daughter of Arvid A. and Hannah (Carlson) Carlson. Married William H. Cadwell on September 11, 1943, in Loves Park. Employed by Cole Chemical. Charter member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Dennis (Pam) Cadwell; daughter, Mary Sue “Suzy” (Marvin) Willard; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and aunt, Ida (Gust) Stohl.

Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, in Scandinavian Cemetery, 1700 Rural Street, Rockford. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. A memorial will be established.
