E. Aileen Bevan, 101, of Loves Park passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in her home.  Born February 29, 1920, in Allerton, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Eva (Halfhill) Bailey.  Married John Russell Bevan on November 26, 1941, in Rockford.  Retired from the Harlem School District.  She was a very kind soul.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church where she volunteered with the Mary Martha Circle, also a member of the Eastern Star.  E. Aileen enjoyed sewing and baking.  Survivors include her children, Ronald (Barb) Bevan, Susan (John) Pruitt, and Patricia (Randy) Wade; grandchildren, John (Maria) Bevan, James Bevan, Christa (Dan) Resenbeck, Micah (Heather) Pruitt, Mark Pruitt, Annie (Josh) Cell, Russel (Carlie) Wade, Andrew (Colleen) Wade, Jennifer (Robert) Swiss, and Jessica (Mike) Intravaia, great-grandchildren, Alexandria, John, Jason, Abby, Nico, Juliana, Olivia, Braeden, Oliver, Lux, Maizie, Kalin Aubrey, Lily, Riley, Ellie, Emma, Ruby, Ashley, Gabe, Piper, Liam, Bella, Laney, Eli, and Drew; great-great-grandchildren, Brady, Anthony, and Vivian (on the way); numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband; brothers, Doyle, Merle, Gail, and Glen Bailey; sister, Lucille Thatcher; grandson, Toby Wade; and great-granddaughter, Katy Wade.

Memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.  Arrangement by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
