Duane Shallcross

Duane H. Shallcross, 62, of Machesney Park passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. Born October 7, 1954, in Rockford.  Lived his entire lifetime in Machesney Park.  Married Lorie Perkins for 40 years.  Employed by Southern Imperial.  Duane was an assistant baseball coach at Harlem Community Center and was a huge Bears and Bulls fan.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bicycle, fishing, playing Pogo games and especially spades.  Duane was a Ham Radio operator. Survivors include his wife, Lorie; and his son, Jason Shallcross.  Predeceased by his sister, Linda Pulliam.

Visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 24, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
