Douglas D. Olsen, 62, of Machesney Park passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, in his home. Born June 19, 1957, in Rockford, the son of David E. and Sally J. (Strickland) Olsen. Lived his entire life in the Rockford area. Last employed by Iron Workers Local 498. Survivors include his father, David Olsen; brother, Dennis Olsen; granddaughters, Alaina Olsen and Allison Olsen; and his faithful dog, Chloe. Predeceased by his mother; son, Ryan; and brother, Fr. Brian.
