Dorothy "Dot" Kittleson

Dorothy M. “Dot” Kittleson, 98, of Rockford passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, from complications of COVID. Born Jan. 5, 1922, in Stillman Valley, the daughter of Frank and Elsie (Friday) Baker. Married LeRoy M. Kittleson on Sept. 16, 1946, in Rockford. Employed by Geri’s Hamburger in Loves Park and most recently by Dutch Mill in Rockford. Resided at Christian Life Retirement Center for 14 years. Dot loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and baking. Survivors include her son Kurt (Debbie) Kittleson; two grandchildren, Michelle Kittleson and Michael (Sunny) Kittleson; sister, Loretta Holtman; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, brother, Roy Baker; four sisters, Marjorie Reints, Alta Mae Kerr, Lorraine Strang and Marie Young.

Private service at 1:30 p.m. in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with live stream on Delehanty Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial in Big Mound Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
