Doris Louise Hall, 93, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Born February 16, 1931, in Rockford, the daughter of Edward Carl and Georgia Katherine (Tampekas) Johnson. She married David “Dave” William Hall on April 9, 1949, in Rockford. The two spent the next 62 years living on Queen Oaks Drive and Doris continued there for a couple more years after Daves passing. Doris was baptized in 1958 at the New York International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She relied upon Jehovah to support her throughout her lifetime. In return she dedicated herself to his worship and strived to live a life of devotion. She did not fail her god in all the years since 1958. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Doris was predeceased by her parents; her devoted husband of 63 years, Dave; and brothers, Earl, Donald, and Jerry.
