Doris E. Getter, 86, of Rockford passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. Born July 21, 1929, in Viroqua, WI, daughter of Issac and Ruby (Allen) Lawrence. Married Walter J. Getter on July 27, 1947, in Viroqua. Member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include sons, Robert (Marguerite), Ray (Gail), David and Joseph (Lynn) Getter; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother. Predeceased by her husband; son, William; a great-grandson; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
