Debra Lynn Rinaldi

Debra Lynn Rinaldi, 60, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Javon Bea Hospital. Born on Monday, November 8, 1965, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Donald Richard and Susan Mae (Swenson) Erickson. Formerly employed by Spectrum Insurance Agency. Employed as an elementary school teacher for 30 years by Lutheran Academy of Rockford and Alpine Academy of Rockford, retiring in 2016. Member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Debra enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include her sons, Nicholas (Kaytlen) Rinaldi and Andrew (Megan) Rinaldi; grandchildren, Lucas, Benjanim, Oliver, Adam, and Emma Rinaldi; mother, Susan Erickson; brother, Bruce (Lori) Erickson; sister, Ami Erickson; sister-in-law, Denise Erickson; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Predeceased by her father, Donald Erickson; sister, Beth Sisson; brother, Mike Erickson; paternal grandparents, Roy and Ramona Erickson; and maternal grandparents, Vernon and Helen Swenson.

A memorial service will be at a later date. Inurnment in Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
