Deborah “Debbie” K. Hartman, 71, of Cherry Valley, IL, was reunited with the love of her life on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Born May 27, 1952, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Lola (Kanode) Swanson. She married Gregory Hartman on January 15, 1972. Previously employed by Swedish American and Oakwood Health, and currently employed by 411 Medicare. Member of Shepherd of the Valley Church. Debbie enjoyed vacationing in Door County and Arizona. She also loved to have a glass of wine, Bloody Mary, or an Old Fashioned at Backyard Grill and Bar, Doc Holliday’s, and the Duck Inn Supper Club. Family was most important to Debbie and she loved and was especially proud of her boys. Survivors include sons, Aaron (Deanna Hendrix) Hartman and Andrew (Amy Pogue) Hartman; grandson, Noah Hartman; grandchildren in her heart, Joseph Rinaldo, Abigail Hendrix, Andrew Pogue, and Logan Hintz; sister, Mary (Einar Forsman) Swanson; cousin, Tom (Judy) Kinison; her beloved dachshund, Baylee; and many special friends. Predeceased by her husband, Gregory Hartman; grandparents, Floyd and Julia Kanode; parents, Kenneth and Lola Swanson; uncle, Melvin Kinison; and aunt, Katherine Kinison.
