David Personette

David G. Personette, 70, of Machesney Park passed away September 16, 2021, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.  Born February 24, 1951, in Rockford, the son of Clyde W. and Helen I. (Miller) Personette.  Previously employed by Barber-Colman and Atwood Industries.  Retired from Hamilton-Sundstrand in 2005.  David enjoyed fishing and grilling out with his family but enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and pets most of all.  Survivors include his son, Robby (Danielle) Personette; grandchildren, Breanna Personette, Logan Spoden, and Brooke Personette; great-grandchild, Soren Wilcox; sister, Sherry Jones; nieces, Christine, Jenny, and Stacy; and many friends.  Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Amanda Personette; and sister, Gayle Personette.

Memorial visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Cremation rites accorded.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
