Darius Breland

Darius Tavol Breland, 19, of Loves Park passed away March 3, 2020, in Rockford. Born January 13, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois. Darius arrived at Walter Lawson Children’s Home when he was 52 days old, coming here from Chicago. He loved attending the Boone County Fair, the Loves Park Ski Broncs, movie theatres, going to school and taking walks. Darius had a smile that would light up the room whenever he saw you. He was loved by everyone he met. Avid country music fan. Survivors include numerous loving staff at Walter Lawson Children’s Home.
