Daniel Thorell

Daniel L. “Mafia” Thorell, 35, of Machesney Park passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016, in his home. Born June 27, 1980, in Rockford. Married Sarah A. Pax on October 30, 2010, in Rockton. Employed by Jamco Products. Lifelong Cubs fan. Daniel had his own special saying and will remembered as saying “Hot Pizza Folks”. Survivors include his wife, Sarah; special pets, Desilu and Dr. Loomis; mother, Kimberly Thorell; father, Daniel Hernandez; cousins, Michelle Thorell and Christopher Thorell; siblings; and many special friends. Predeceased by his grandparents, Roger and Marty Thorell.

Memorial visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
