Dana Lee McKinney, 68, of Davis Junction, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on Tuesday, September 10, 1957, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Robert and Jane (Fletcher) Crossen. She married John McKinney on August 1, 1986, in Rockford, IL. Formerly employed by Concentric Hydraulics. Avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Dana enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors include her husband, John McKinney; sons, John (Brandie Shaner) McKinney and Jake McKinney; grandchildren, Madilyn McKinney and John McKinney; mother, Jane Crossen; and sister, Darla Crossen. Predeceased by her father and a brother.
A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
