Dale Dehart

Dale M. DeHart, 74, of Loves Park passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016. Born September 24, 1941, in Meadville, PA., the son of S. Richard and Dorothy (Ferrall) DeHart. Avid Penn State University fan, where he graduated from college. Married Nancy James on September 3, 1960, in Harmonsburg, PA. Dale retired from Barber Colman Co. and after retirement was employed by Farm & Fleet in Loves Park. Member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed yard work but mostly enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; daughters, Crystal (Mark) Lundvall, Wendy Jancek and Jan (Steve) Hudgin; grandchildren, Lindsay Lundvall, Alyssa Lundvall, Jenna Parrish, Brett Parrish, Jarrett Jancek, Derek (Traci) Hudgin, Jeremy Hudgin and Megan Hudgin; sisters-in-law, Janet (Don) Moyer and Janice (Gerald) Uzarski; brother-in-law, Dick (Linda) James; brother, Robert; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.

Memorial service at 6 p.m. Friday, April 1, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 4 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
