Connie R. Kim, 67, of Rockford, IL, was called home to the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2025, in her home. Born November 14, 1957, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Ancel Joseph and Shirley Mae (Rybolt) Holley, Jr. She graduated from West High School. She married Jong Kim on October 13, 2024, in Rockford. Connie was a devoted member of Centennial United Methodist Church where she volunteered with the Kids Club. She enjoyed gardening, concerts in the park, dining out, traveling to Duluth, MN, and watching TV series. Survivors include her husband, Jong; sons, Robert (Stephanie) Brown and David (Stephanie) Brown; grandchildren, Eric and Tatum Brown, Kyle Miller, and Craig, Joey, Drake, Ava, Roman, Drew, Aubrey, Vinny, Autumn, Brooklyn, Amber, Holly, and Coulson Brown; sister, Sarita Holley; and stepmother, Evelyn Holley. Predeceased by her parents; and brother, Tim Holley. Special thanks to Pastor Audrey, her church family and friends for their care and compassion.

Service at 1 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Centennial United Methodist Church, 1503 Broadway, Rockford, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
