Clarence W. “Bill” Hamilton, 90, of Machesney Park, IL, was called home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born August 7, 1933, in Streator, IL, the son of Dennis W. and Esther (Stevens) Hamilton. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Linda Lou Hoggins on December 2, 1978, in Odell, IL. Employed by Greenlee Textron Manufacturing for 23 years, retiring in 1995. Avid bingo player. Bill enjoyed being outdoors. Survivors include his daughter, Sheri (Louis) Tseronis; son, Gary (Judy) Hamilton; grandchildren, Chad (Caysie) Kulpa, Ryan (Amy) Kulpa, Abby (Justin) Williams, Bradley (Moriah) Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton, Libby Hamilton, and Benjamin Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Creighton, Mason, and Jemma. Predeceased by his parents; wife; daughter, Kathy Kulpa; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters.
Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Roscoe Township Cemetery.
