Christine M. Licari, 73, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Born May 4, 1948, in Rockford, the daughter of William W. and Betty E. (Goldbeck) Naill. Attended Harlem Schools. Married James R. Licari, Jr., on September 29, 1990. Employed by the Harlem School District for more than 13 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. Christine enjoyed the holidays, gardening, crafts, cardinals and shopping. She was known for her pinwheels in her yard. Survivors include her daughters, Tammy (John) Hoed of Machesney Park, Bettyann (Ruben) Harp of Conroe, Texas, Stephanie (Chad Johnson) Ritchotte of Rockford, and Sarah (Troy) Kendall of Pocahontas, Ark.; son, James Licari, III, of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Ted (Jen) Hoed, Nicholas “Nicky” (Krystal) Guffey, Cody (Jackie Highstreet) Hoed, Michael (Ashley) Peters, Brittany Walls, Breanna Ritchotte, Trevor Kay, Chloe Yancick, and Addison, Austin, and Avalynn Kendall; great-grandchildren, Domanick, Bailey, Adelyn, Harley, Willow, Corbin, Jaylnn, Kinsley, Wyatt, Levi, Jonathan, and Brycen; loving fur baby, A.J. Alice; sister, Pam (Betty Cloyd) Naill; brother, Bob Naill; sister-in-law, Diane Naill; numerous nieces and nephews; very special friends, Gary (Shelly) McAlister and family. Predeceased by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Nichole Guffey; brothers, Timothy, Maurie, John, and Dan.
Memorial visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
