Christina Magreta (Pierre) Underwood, 52, of Machesney Park passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, in her home. Born November 3, 1966, in Trinidad and Tobago, the daughter of Matthew and Maria (St. Hillarie) Pierre. Married Alan Michael Underwood on February 26, 2000. Employed as a general manager by Denny’s and formerly at Cracker Barrel. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She loved attending church, her friends, working, eating out and attending movies. Magreta enjoyed going to the park, the outdoors, watching sports including football, basketball, and Trinidad & Tobago soccer. She loved relaxing, watching TV, especially the Bravo and Catholic channels. Survivors include her husband, Alan; son, Marldon Holder; stepchildren, Von Underwood and Jasmine Nagel; mother, Maria; siblings, Marilyn Joseph, Alleyne Pierre, Delores Justian Pierre, Daly Pauliann Pierre, Andrea Pierre St. Hillaire, Carl Pierre, and Shirlana Pierre; close friends, Nichole Osborne, Sarah Mesa, Margaret and Robbie. Predeceased by her father; and brother, Wayne Pierre.

Services will be held in Trinidad and Tobago. Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
