Charles Clark

Charles W. Clark, 82, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in his home. Born November 6, 1937, in Mystic, Iowa, the son of Arthur F. and Delcie (Roe) Clark. Veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sergeant, retiring after 21 years of service. After his military service, Charles worked as a medical equipment technician at various hospitals in the Rockford area. He obtained his pilot’s license and enjoyed playing the organ. Survivors include his sisters, Carol Hauser, Connie Rogers and Charlene (Jeremy) Taylor; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; older brother, Clarence; and younger sister.

Graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 8616 West State Street, Winnebago. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
