Chad F. Thurow

Chad F. Thurow, 54, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Swedish American Health, after a short illness. He was born on Thursday, July 15, 1971, in Rockford, IL, the son of Carl “Kelly” F. and Susan “Sue” C. (Medearis) Thurow, Sr. Chad enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Chicago Bears. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Susan “Sue” Thurow; brother, Carl F. (Kelly) Thurow, Jr.; sister, Charlotte Thurow; and niece, Taylor Neuschwander-Thurow. Predeceased by his father, Carl “Kelly” Thurow, Sr.

Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Cremation rites accorded.
