Cecelia “Cec” Lynn Buckner, 76, of Rockton, IL, passed away on Friday April 11, 2025, in her home. Born July 29,1948, in Clinton IL, the daughter of Cecil and Helen (Berry) Clifton. She married Mark A. Buckner on September 4, 1983, in Rockford, IL. Cec and her husband owned and operated Rockford Heating and Air Conditioning for 33 years. Cec enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeders at home. In her spare time, she loved antiquing, going to auctions, and giving new life to old jewelry. Survivors include her husband, Mark; sons, Joshua and Nicholas (soon to be daughter-in-law, Ashley); numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Canada. Predeceased by her parents, Cecil Clifton and Helen (Beery) Clifton; and sister, Bonnie Mandrell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 307 Diana Drive, Rockton, IL 61072 on May 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
