Catherine G. (Lobban) Alexander, 84, of Rockford, IL, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, in her home. Born September 14, 1938, in England. She married Alistar K. Alexander on March 8, 1958, in Scotland. Retired from Borg Warner. Catherine enjoyed gardening, crocheting, birdwatching, and caring for all animals, especially cats. Survivors include her granddaughter, Amanda (Ryan) Privett; great-grandson, Rowan Privett; and daughter-in-law, Chris Bates. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and sons, Alistair C. Alexander, and Phillip Alexander.
Memorial service at noon Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
