Carter Adams

Carter Dean Adams, 3, of Loves Park was called home by his grandmother, Thursday, February 24, 2022.  Born February 8, 2019, in Rockford.  Carter loved being with family, sensory toys, and music. He also loved being held, read to, sang to, and being given massages. Survivors include his parents, Colton A. Adams and Lindsey N. Long of Cherry Valley; paternal grandparents, Eric (Joanna) Adams of Rockford; maternal grandparents, Rusty (Julie) Long of Cleveland, TN; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Predeceased by is maternal grandmother, Tricia Long; and loving canine, Max.  Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Walter Lawson Children’s Home for their loving care and compassion.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites accorded.  A memorial will be established.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
