Carolyn Puls

Carolyn E. Puls, 93, of Rockford died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born May 14, 1925, in Rockford, the daughter of Webster and Esther (Anderson) Merrick. Married Barton L. Puls on September 20, 1946, in Rockford. Retired from Swedish American Hospital. Member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Survivors include sons, Jack Puls, Steven (Karen) Puls and Jeff Puls; grandchildren, Steve Puls, Marie (George) Navickis, Renee (Trae) Brown and Johnny Zito; great-grandchildren, Brendon, Cora and Jacob. Predeceased by her parents and husband.

Graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
