Carolyn J. McKinney, 82, of Loves Park passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, in her home, with her daughter, Julie, by her side. Born December 7, 1939, in Woodstock, IL, the daughter of Frank E. and Mary J. (Franks) Mackey. Married William J. McKinney, Sr. on February 14, 1958. She loved him with all of her heart. She loved riding a bike with her husband, country western music, her dogs, grandchildren, and being with family. Survivors include her children, Bill (Diane) McKinney, Jr., Larry McKinney, Mary (Rick) Roberts, Julie (Robert) Howell, and Linda (David) McKinney; grandchildren, Allen (Danielle) McKinney, Jeremy McKinney, Nickolas McKinney, Travis McKinney, and Shannon (Tyler) Eley; great-grandchildren, Karson, Riglei, Peyton, and Naomi; brother, Michael R. (Pam) Mackey. Predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers, Thomas E. Mackey, William C. Mackey, and Frank E. Mackey, Jr.; sister, Helen Mackey in infancy; and numerous dogs she loved dearly.
Private family services will be held. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Loves Park.
