Carol Ann Parish, 80, of Machesney Park, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in her home. Born on Saturday, October 27, 1945, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Chandler) Olivotti. She married Steven Parish on June 3, 1978, in Rockford, IL. Formerly employed by Warner Lambert and retired from Christian Life Retirement Center. Carol was an NBA super fan, having the NBA Sports package and watching her favorite player, Steph Curry. Her grandchildren were her life. Carol enjoyed going out to lunch and shopping with her friends and trips to Disney with her family. She attended Sunday services at City First Church, formerly Rockford Assembly of God for 45 years. She loved Jesus, was a part of the Women’s Ministry and Prayer group, known as Joy Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, Steven; children, Teresa White, Tracy (John) Walter, Shay (Peggy) Parish, and Stephanie Ellis; grandchildren, Olivia (Logan) Cloak, Alex White, Keeley (Jack) Strellner, Reid Walter, Emily Parish, Ethan Parish, Ava Ellis, and Malachi Ellis; sister Judy (Danny) Streit; nieces, Danielle and Angela. Predeceased by her parents; and brother, Steve Olivotti. Special thank you to her dear friend, Nancy Kolthoff.
Memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at City First Church, 5950 Spring Creek, Road, Rockford, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
