Carol Mackey

Carol Ann Mackey, 72, of Loves Park passed away peacefully Saturday, May 7, 2016. Born December 3, 1943, in Dixon, the daughter of Raymond and Anna A. (Yoeckel) Mackey, Sr. Graduated from Lanark High School. Employed by ServiceMaster for eight years, retiring in 2005. Carol loved her Cubs, country music and soap operas. Survivors include daughter, Kelly (Paul) Nimtz; grandchildren, Michael Rothermel and Rachel (Brent Wagner) Rothermel, Jacob, Emilie, Adam (Courtney Glass), Abbie and Ellie Nimtz; brothers, Wallace (Evelyn) and Robert Mackey; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; sisters, Evelyn Jensen and Linda Mackey; brothers, Raymond Jr., Wilber, Pete, William and David Mackey. Special thanks to Northern Illinois Hospice, Dr. Khatak, Delana, Carli, Michelle and Provena Saint Anne Center for their special care.

Service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
