Carol S. Landers, 74, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in her home. Born September 5, 1951, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of John Nicholas and Dolly Marie (Moore) Timbush, Sr. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1970 to 1972. She married Herbert L. Landers, Sr., in Rockford, IL. Employed by Logli for 9 years. Lifetime member of VFW 5149 and Ellida Lodge 25. Carol enjoyed working on her computer and playing bingo. Carol also had a love for animals. Survivors include her sisters, Linda Hanson and Karen Rufer; sisters-in-law, Karen Timbush and Phyllis Timbush; numerous nieces and nephews; special neighbor, Paulie. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and sisters, Marilyn Moore and Joanne Ludack; brothers, Wayne and Ralph Timbush; and brother-in-law, Bud Rufer.

Per her request, there are no services. Cremation rites were accorded at Riverside Community Church Memorial Garden, Machesney Park, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
