Carin L. (Ames) Demus, 70, of Loves Park passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. Born March 22, 1952, in La Crosse, WI, the daughter of Gerald G. and Loretta J. (Peterson) Ames. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1970. Married William P. “Bill” Demus on May 8, 1999, in Loves Park, IL. Member of GPS Faith Community Church. Carin was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and had a big loving heart. Anyone who knew her loved her. She loved her family, friends, and God. Carin enjoyed cookouts, fishing, golfing, bowling, boating, estate sales, trips, planting flowers, and anything with her grandchildren. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Her family and kids were deep in her heart. Survivors include her husband, Bill; children, Nick Primeaux, Mackenzie (Chad) Kacvinsky, Ron Demus, Nate Demus, and Jennifer Demus; grandchildren, Alexandria, Emma, Rikki, Beaux, Christopher, Paisley, Rylee, Olivia, and Kya; brother, David (Mona) Ames; sister, Chris Ames; brother-in-law, Bill Mondon; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Greg Ames; sister, Ricki Mondon; and nephews, Jerry Mondon and Jordon Zobal.

Service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
