Brian Newman

Brian T. “Tom” Newman, 57, of Rockford passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at his home. Born December 12, 1959, in Rockford, the son of Robert L. and Mary Ann (Doyle) Newman.  Attended West High School.  Married Gayla S. Johnson on August 30, 1997, in Rockford.  Employed by Rockford Concrete Paving.  Brian enjoyed riding his motorcycles, camping, spending time with his family and special friend, Kylee.  Survivors include his wife, Gayla; father, Bob Newman; grandchildren, Cody Seehaver and Brandon Seehaver; brother, Steven (Angela) Newman; sister, Jody Newman; niece, Jenna Newman; and nephews, Joshua Newman, Peter Hollands and Benjamin Hollands.  Predeceased by his mother; and daughter, Melissa Newman.

Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
