Brenda K. McMunn, 58, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025.  Born March 30, 1967, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Keith and Margaret (Griffen) Townsend.  Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1987.  Married David McMunn on July 23, 1994, in Machesney Park.  Member of Church of Christ.  Avid Green Bay Packer fan.  Brenda was a very caring person, was always there to help a friend.  She never had a bad thing to say about anyone.  She loved her grandkids, she enjoyed camping, fishing, crossword puzzles, and bike riding.  Survivors include her husband, David McMunn; mother, Margaret Townsend; brothers, Brian Townsend and Michael Townsend; grandchildren, Ayden Campbell, Korbyn Campbell, and Amaya Day; stepdaughter, Jennifer Campbell; niece, Maggie (David Vaughn) Townsend; great-niece, Luna Vaughn; aunts, Sandy McAllister and Diana Wilka; loving fur baby, Princess.  Predeceased by her father.

Service at 11 a.m. May 2, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL., with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.  Burial in Scottish Argyle Cemetery.
