Bonnie L. Moore, 74, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at P A Peterson at the Citadel. Born October 5, 1949, in Rockford, the daughter of Clyde G. and Betty L. (Mayhew) Hutchinson. Graduated from East High School, Class of 1967, and received her associate degree from Rock Valley College in 1990. She married Thomas “Tom” Moore on March 17, 1996, in Loves Park, IL. She most recently was employed by Radio Shack, retiring in 2013. Bonnie formerly owned and operated a Rubber-Stamping Store and was a former Ham Radio operator. Member of Rockford First Church of the Nazarene. Past instructor for the Boy Scouts. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, knitting, genealogy research, and she loved dogs. Survivors include her husband, Tom; stepchildren, Timothy (Felicia) Campbell, Jeanette (Rich) Remington, and Stephen (Sandy) Campbell; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Cathleen Peters; brother, Michael (Tabitha) Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins including, Candice (Will) Shenberger, Linda (Bob) Peterson, Cheryl Mayhew-Bergman, Dennis Mayhew, and Sue (Bob) Woodford. Predeceased by her parents; and son, Clinton Taflinger.
Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Cremation rites accorded. Inurnment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
