Bobby Lee Spencer

Bobby Lee Spencer 71, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in his home. He was born on Friday, August 20, 1954, in Rockford, IL, the son of William and Vera (Crouch) Spencer. He graduated from Jefferson High School, Class of 1972. Bobby worked for UPS for many years and was also a member of the Carpenters Union. He was an avid golfer, music lover, huge Chicago Cubs fan, Chicago Bears fan, and valued family over everything. Bobby would ride his bike everywhere, including to his union meetings. He enjoyed listening to the song “Radar Love”. Survivors include his siblings, William (Karen) Spencer and Barb (Roger) Lloyd; nephews, Gary Roach and Ross (Erin) Spencer; nieces, Sherry Roach Linn and Blair (Carter) Brearley; great-nieces and -nephews, Maggie, Fiona, Nora, Rhett, Graham, and Wren. Predeceased by his parents; and younger brother, Bruce.

Memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
