Billy Herren

Billy W. Herren, 66, of Rockford passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.  Born November 29, 1954, at the Fort Gordon Military Base in Augusta, GA, the son of Walden Prentice and Billie Ruth (Shaw) Herren.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Billy enjoyed riding and fixing motorcycles, especially Harley’s.  Survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Chad) Jury; son, Jeremy Herren; grandsons, Jackson, and Owen; brothers, Danny, Steven (Tammy), Johnny, Jack (Magdelena) and Bobby (Phyllis) Herren; numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; son, Jason Herren; and brother, Rick Herren.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be at a later date.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
