Betty Marshall

Betty L. Marshall, 82, of Machesney Park died Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in her home. Born August 25, 1936, in Athens County, Ohio, the daughter of Sylvester and Iva Mae (Cullison) Peters. Lived 48 years in the Rockford area, coming here from Springfield, Ohio. Formerly employed by Barber-Colman, Cotta Transmission, Rockford Spring, Millward Brown and Life Touch. Member of Beverly Park General Baptist Church and Bible Study. Betty loved reading, shopping and watching Judge Judy. Survivors include her son, Aaron (Adam Marshall-Hedrick) Hedrick-Marshall of Machesney Park; grandchildren, Thomas Tyler Heisler of Loves Park, Jason Montya of Texas and numerous other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Mae Juhl-Heisler of Loves Park and Corbin Hardwick of Pekin; sisters-in-law, Bärbel Hunt of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Betty Dean of Machesney Park; several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents; sisters, Lila Mae Cullison and Mildred Dean; brothers, Charles Cullison and Herbert Hunt; brother-in-law, Robert Schmidt; and sister-in-law, Doris Schmidt.
