Betty Jean Jack, 85, of Machesney Park was reunited with her husband Monday, December 3, 2018. Born July 10, 1933, in Rockford, the daughter of Thomas and Florence L. (Fehler) Passmore. Graduated from West High School. Married Albert A. Jack on February 18, 1956, in Rockford. Employed as a photographer with First Photo at Rockford Memorial Hospital for newborns. Secretary for Ladies Thursday a.m. Bowling League for more than 30 years. She was an election judge in Machesney Park. Betty was a Rockford Junior Peach and a fan of the singer Daniel O’Donnell. Betty enjoyed bingo and playing slots. She was a Harlem High School Booster. Survivors include her children, Cindy (Bill) Hedges of Clinton, Wis., Mark (Mary) Jack of Roscoe, Chris Johnson of Stillman Valley and Mindy (Mike) Frank of South Beloit; grandchildren, Katie (Jeff) Letcher, Jonathan (Stefanie) Lynch, Michael Jack, Daniel Jack, Megan Frank, Austin Hedges, Sarah Jack, Michelle Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Allison (Oscar) Cruz and David (Marlena) Frank; great-grandchildren, Ashely, Jacob, Jeb, Mikaela, Remington Jean, Roman, Olivia, Claire, Grace and David Jr.; brother, Gordy Passmore; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, JoAnn Guetschow and Kathy Boeckmann; her angelic caretaker, Spring. Predeceased by her husband; son, Alan Jack; sisters, Donna and Lois “Squirt”.
Service at 1 p.m. Friday, December 7, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in North Burritt Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
