Betty L. "Meemaw" Henricks, 97, of Loves Park, IL, was called to eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2024. Born May 16, 1927, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Clarence M. and Ila M. (Swanson) Roggensack. Married John "Jack" Henricks on April 7, 1947. Employed as a pharmacy technician by OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, for 45 years, retiring in 1998. Member of St. James Catholic Church. Betty loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed playing bingo with her sister, Juanita, who was a big part of her life. Also, shopping and tending to her flowers in her garden. Avid Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include son, Jack (Georgia) Henricks; daughter, Sherry (Steven) Jack; three grandchildren, Gina Henricks, Timothy (Theresa) Key, and Jack Henricks, III; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney (Matt) Gabel, Justin Pirrello, Tayden, Timmy and Taylor Key, Jaclyn (Kyle) Martinson and Austin (Haven) Henricks; six great-great-grandchildren, Landyn Pirrello, Ryann Key, Crew Martinson, Brayah Martinson, Summit Henricks and Ettlyn Henricks. The family wishes to thank OSF Hospice for their loving care.
