Beatrice Pepper, 98, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in her home. Born September 3, 1922, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Albert and Mary S. (Givens) Griffith, Sr. Married Notley Virgil Pepper on December 14, 1945, in Taos, New Mexico. Formerly employed by the original Russell Stover family, making candy. Worked as a Rosie the Riveter during World War II. Retired from Amerock. She loved the summer sun and flowers. Survivors include her children, Roger (Judy) Gray, Rex (Carol) Pepper, Linda (Eddie) Pingel, Rhonda (Roger) Smith and Kevin (Carrie) Pepper; daughter-in-law, Tona Pepper; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and sons, Terry and Timothy Pepper. Special thanks to Abbie and the staff at Hospice Care of America.
