Barbara Peterson

Barbara A. Peterson, 87, of Rockford passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born September 8, 1931, in Rockford, daughter of Wesley and Mildred (Johnson) Brazzell. Married Donald Peterson in 1976. He died in 2014. She was formerly employed by Amerock Corp. Longtime member of First Assembly of God Church. Barb enjoyed solitaire and puzzles. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Survivors include her daughter, Deb Munn; sons, Michael (Ann) Diamond and Robert (Shannon) Diamond; grandchildren, Shannon (David) Sims, Kelly (Lee) Hart, Eric, Sarah and Brian Diamond, Mike (Emalee) Diamond, Dustin (Valerie) Diamond, Christina and London Diamond; great-grandchildren, Ally, Mady, Sebastian, Charlie, Leonardo, Reagan and Kensington; niece, Lisa; and nephew, Steve. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Ronald Brazzell; and sister, Lorraine (Leighton) Wignall.

Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Life Church, 5910 Elevator Road, Roscoe, with visitation from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd.
