Barbara Klingenberg

Barbara A. Klingenberg, 68, of Rockton, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2018, in her home. Born June 22, 1950, in Beloit, the daughter of H. Rodger and Elizabeth (Whyte) Dopp. Married Albert A. Klingenberg on September 30, 1988, in Beloit. Employed by First National Bank & Trust for 30 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and vacationing at her summer cottage on Madeline Island, Lake Superior. Survivors include her husband, Albert; son, Joshua (Kim) Nichols of Park Ridge, IL; grandchildren, Ella Katherine Nichols and Sarah Elizabeth Nichols; sister-in-law, Kathy Dopp of Beloit; nieces and nephews, Jane (Scott) Shank, Joelyn (Mark) Holmes, Jeff (Kim) Dopp, Bill (Dialyn) Dopp and Matt (Deana) Dopp; close friends, Judy (Ed) Thomas. Predeceased by her parents; and brothers, John, James and Richard Dopp.

As per her wishes, there will be no services. The family asks that donations in her name be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin or La Pointe Public Library. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
