Barbara "Barb" Klein

Barbara “Barb” Jean Klein, 80, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday, July 6, 2020, in Park Strathmoor Nursing Home. She was born October 2, 1939, in Rockford, to William and Josephine (Carey) Stobart. Barb was married to Raymond “Red” Klein on February 15, 1968, in Rockford, Illinois. She was employed and retired from Sundstrand Aerospace Company. She was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Lombardi Club, and a member of The Venation Club all in Rockford. Barb was an avid golfer and enjoyed being on the green whenever possible. She also loved boating, traveling, and spending time with her family. Barb had an infectious smile and a kind heart. She was very involved with her granddaughters and loved spending time with all "her girls". Barb is predeceased by both her parents; William and Josephine Stobart; her husband, Raymond Klein; and her sister, RaeAnn Hamlin. She is survived by her daughter, Jo (Mike) Witte; two brothers, Jim (Gail) Stobart and Tom (Mary Alice) Stobart; granddaughters, Alicia Burbach, Andrea (Jeremy) Lozdoski and Kerstin (Kyle) Carlson; grandson, Andrew Witte; and great-granddaughters, Kylie, Kaitlynn, Aubrey, Emma, and Kelcie.

Services were private. Cremation rites were accorded. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in the name of Barb Klein. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
